Things to Do at Home
1. Set aside time each day for your child to complete his/her homework. Your child will be given time in class to complete his/her homework and will be provided a study hall period most days. The amount of homework that your child has will depend on how well class time is used.
2. Go through your child's backpack and planner each day. If your child is not filling out his/her planner, please let me know. Homework is also listed on the calendar link.
3. Check Powerschools weekly to be sure that your child is keeping up with classwork and homework.
4. Read with and to your child and be sure that your child reads 15 minutes per day as part of the assigned homework.
5. Practice, practice, practice multiplication facts with your child. Knowing these facts will help in every area of Math.
